The City of Sarasota is seeking Bids for Boat Lifts for the Police Department. Description: Provide the complete cost for installed boat lifts per specifications. NO ADDITIONAL COSTS WILL BE PAID. CALL PRIOR TO DELIVERY. Delivery will be in Sarasota, Florida. Specifications for Boat Lift Installation Quantity of two (2) 20,000 pound boat lifts Quantity of two (2) ultra high speed, 50" per minute, direct drive motors Remove and demolish two current boat lifts (no profile lifts) Remove old pilings (three on each side for each boat - total of 12) Install new pilings, minimum of 10" diameter Aluminum walkway, dimensions 38' x 3' Accessibility catwalks must be installed on one side of each dock (total of two catwalks) Furnish and provide electrical equipment and services to provide power to the lifts. Wiring and hook-ups must be provided (240 volt power is already there). If electrical design requires encasement in PVC pipe, vendor must include in cost Work permits: must be applied for and paid for by vendor Insurance: Certificate of Insurance must be provided by vendor Timing of Work : Must begin within three (3) days of order placement , Has to be completed within twenty (20) days order placement Minimum 15 year structural warranty Minimum 1 year motor warranty Unless otherwise stated in the scope of work, specifications, or special conditions the default contract term shall be one (1) year with two (2) one (1) year renewals for a total of three (3) years. The CITY reserves the right to reject any or all materials if, in its judgment, the item reflects unsatisfactory workmanship or manufacturing or shipping damage. Also, the vendor shall refund to CITY any money which has been paid for same. Question Deadline 04/16/2024 at 7:00 AM ET
