The work includes reconstruction of the Municipal Parking Lot located between Pitt Street and Baldwin Street in the Township of Bloomfield. These improvements include milling and resurfacing of the parking area; installation of fencing, drainage, concrete work; pavement restriping; landscaping and various other improvements as shown on the bid documents Work to be completed in 120 calendar days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Bids must be made on proposal forms and must be enclosed in sealed, special addressed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and work bid upon, on the outside, and must be accompanied by a duly executed Consent of Surety, Statement of Financial Responsibility, Non-Collusion Affidavit and Certified Check or Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 as a guarantee of good faith and must be delivered at the above place at the time designated. Bids not enclosed in an addressed envelopes, with the project name indicated, will be considered informal and will not be opened. The Township Council reserves the right to reject all bids or all items in the proposal; to increase or decrease or eliminate such items as may be necessary for the adoption of any alternate; to accept that one which, in its judgment, best serves its interest; to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder.
