The work includes pavement milling and resurfacing at the following locations:JFK Drive North from Myrtle Street to Dodd Street. JFK Drive from Liberty Street to Belleville Avenue. State Street from Belleville Avenue to Broad Street The work shall also include selective curb & sidewalk repair, drainage improvements, pavement striping and traffic control measures. Work to be completed within ninety (90) calendar days or by November 30, 2024, weather permitting, whichever comes first, from the notice to proceed. Bids must be made on proposal forms and must be enclosed in sealed, special addressed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and work bid upon, on the outside, and must be accompanied by a duly executed Consent of Surety, Statement of Financial Responsibility, Non-Collusion Affidavit and Certified Check or Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 as a guarantee of good faith and must be delivered at the above place at the time designated. Bids not enclosed in special addressed envelopes will be considered informal and will not be opened. The Township Council reserves the right to reject all bids or all items in the proposal; to increase or decrease or eliminate such items as may be neces- sary for the adoption of any alternate; to accept that one which, in its judgment, best serves its interest; to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder.
