Demolition, site work and addition to a mixed-use development in Springfield, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for the addition of a warehouse / distribution facility; for the demolition of a warehouse / distribution facility; warehouse / distribution facility; and water / sewer project.
The scope of work required under this contract includes furnishing and paying for all work necessary for construction of a 20 ft x 50 ft timber frame open shed, approximate 2,500 S.F. asphalt apron, and site improvements. The work covered by these contract documents shall include but not be limited to the following: labor, materials, equipment, overhead, profit, permits, fees, testing, utility location verification, demolition of existing features as necessary, site preparation, erosion control, surveying, construction layout, site grading, asphalt pavement apron, storm sewer demolition and construction, timber frame open shed building components, concrete building pad, and the removal and disposal of all construction debris from the project site. Each prime bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid. Bid Bonds and Performance and Payment Bonds must be secured by a guaranty, or a surety company listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570 and shall be within the maximum amount specified for such company in said Circular 570. The "Bid Bond" and the "Performance and Payment Bond" must be issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the state where the project is located and must be listed in U.S. Treasure Circular No. 570. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
