The intent of this Request for Bids ("RFB") is to select a qualified individual or firm to provide the abovementioned services Stryker Street at Lincoln Street (Inlet, Type B with 48x22 Grate) Remove and Reset Frame, Curb Piece, Back, and Grate. Sawcut and Excavate around Perimeter of Structure, as necessary, to Expose Deteriorated Block and Mortar. Remove and Replace Upper Course of Deteriorated Block and Mortar and allow sufficient time for Mortar to set. Backfill around Inlet with Dense Graded Aggregate (DGA) to Paving Elevation. Install 4 thick HM19M64 Base Course, Tack Coat (Horizontal and Vertical), and 2 thick HM9.5M64 Surface Course. Joints sealed through Infrared Patching with Joint Sealant along Curb. 120 Highland Street (Inlet, Type B with 48x22 Grate) Remove and Reset Frame, Curb Piece, Back, and Grate. Sawcut and Excavate around Perimeter of Structure, as necessary, to Expose Deteriorated Block and Mortar. Remove and Replace Upper Course of Deteriorated Block, Mortar and Reinforcing Bars (Rebar) and allow sufficient time for Mortar to set. Backfill around Inlet with Dense Graded Aggregate (DGA) to Paving Elevation. Install 4 thick HM19M64 Base Course, Tack Coat (Horizontal and Vertical), and 2 thick HM9.5M64 Surface Course. Joints sealed through Infrared Patching with Joint Sealant along Curb. 58 Highland Street (Inlet, Type B with 48x22 Grate) Remove and Reset Frame, Curb Piece, Back, and Grate. Sawcut and Excavate around Perimeter of Structure, as necessary, to Expose Deteriorated Block and Mortar. Remove and Replace Upper Course of Deteriorated Block and Mortar and allow sufficient time for Mortar to set. Backfill around Inlet with Dense Graded Aggregate (DGA) to Paving Elevation. Install 4 thick HM19M64 Base Course, Tack Coat (Horizontal and Vertical), and 2 thick HM9.5M64 Surface Course. Joints sealed through Infrared Patching with Joint Sealant along Curb. 13 Northfield Court (Inlet, Type B with 48x22 Grate) Remove and Reset Frame, Curb Piece, Back, and Grate. Sawcut and Excavate around Perimeter of Structure, as necessary, to Expose Deteriorated Block and Mortar. Remove and Replace Upper Course of Deteriorated Block and Mortar and allow sufficient time for Mortar to set. Backfill around Inlet with Dense Graded Aggregate (DGA) to Paving Elevation. Install 4 thick HM19M64 Base Course, Tack Coat (Horizontal and Vertical), and 2 thick HM9.5M64 Surface Course. Joints sealed through Infrared Patching with Joint Sealant along Curb. 278 Holcombe Way (Inlet, Type B with 48x22 Grate) Remove and Reset Frame, Curb Piece, Back, and Grate. Sawcut and Excavate around Perimeter of Structure, as necessary, to Expose Deteriorated Block and Mortar. Remove and Replace Upper Course of Deteriorated Block and Mortar and allow sufficient time for Mortar to set. Backfill around Inlet with Dense Graded Aggregate (DGA) to Paving Elevation. Install 4 thick HM19M64 Base Course, Tack Coat (Horizontal and Vertical), and 2 thick HM9.5M64 Surface Course. Joints sealed through Infrared Patching with Joint Sealant along Curb. Alexander Avenue at Perry Road (Inlet, Type B with 48x22 Grate) Remove and Reset Frame, Curb Piece, Back, and Grate. Sawcut and Excavate around Perimeter of Structure, as necessary, to Expose Deteriorated Block and Mortar. Remove and Replace Upper Course of Deteriorated Block and Mortar and allow sufficient time for Mortar to set. Backfill around Inlet with Dense Graded Aggregate (DGA) to Paving Elevation. Install 4 thick HM19M64 Base Course, Tack Coat (Horizontal and Vertical), and 2 thick HM9.5M64 Surface Course. Joints sealed through Infrared Patching with Joint Sealant along Curb. Alexander Avenue at Perry Road (Inlet, Type E with (2) 48x22 Grates) Remove and Reset Frame and (2) Grates. Sawcut and Excavate around Perimeter of Structure, as necessary, to Expose Deteriorated Block and Mortar. Remove and Replace Upper Course of Deteriorated Block and Mortar and allow sufficient time for Mortar to set. Backfill front of Inlet with Dense Graded Aggregate (DGA) to Paving Elevation. Install 4 thick HM19M64 Base Course, Tack Coat (Horizontal and Vertical), and 2 thick HM9.5M64 Surface Course in front of Inlet. Backfill sides and back of Inlet with Select Backfill to Topsoil Elevation. Install 6 thick Topsoil, Seed and Mulch. Joint sealed through Infrared Patching. Coryell Street at D&R Canal Trail (Inlet, Type A with 48x22 Grate) Remove and Reset Frame and Grate. Sawcut and Excavate around Perimeter of Structure, as necessary, to Expose Deteriorated Block and Mortar. Remove and Replace Upper Course of Deteriorated Block and Mortar and allow sufficient time for Mortar to set. Backfill around Inlet with Dense Graded Aggregate (DGA) to Paving Elevation. Install 4 thick HM19M64 Base Course, Tack Coat (Horizontal and Vertical), and 2 thick HM9.5M64 Surface Course. Joints sealed through Infrared Patching. Lambertville Police Station Parking Lot (Yard Inlet, 22x22 Frame with 24x24 Box) Sawcut, as necessary, and Remove and Replace entire Inlet, including Frame and Grate. Backfill around Inlet with Dense Graded Aggregate (DGA) to Paving Elevation. Install 4 thick HM19M64 Base Course, Tack Coat (Horizontal and Vertical), and 2 thick HM9.5M64 Surface Course. Joints sealed through Infrared Patching. Proposal B includes replacement of the following storm sewer system: Delevan Street between N. Union Street and Clinton Street (Start at Inlet at Clinton Street) Sawcut, as necessary, Excavate and Remove Existing Storm Sewer Pipe. Remove 9x18 Concrete Vertical Curb, where directed. Utilizing existing Trench, Install proper Bedding Material for pipe. Install 12 Class IV Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP). Backfill around Pipe and to Paving Elevation with Dense Graded Aggregate (DGA). Install 9x18 Concrete Vertical Curb, where directed. Install 4 thick HM19M64 Base Course. The City will not be responsible for packages not arriving at the time and place designated, irrespective of the date and time the package was mailed, posted, or left with a delivery service. Bidder assumes any and all risk of late delivery of its bid. Bids not received on time will be returned to Bidder unopened Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of "City of Lambertville" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. The City will award a contract or reject all bids within sixty (60) days after receipt of the bids unless otherwise agreed by the parties. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in any bid received and to accept the bid which in its judgment will best serve the interest of the City *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
