Landscape and Lawn Maintenance Scope of Service The vendor will Submit a proposal to address the following: Mowing Work Scope: o Locations: High School, Middle School o Both campuses are normally cut on the same day o Lawn height will be between 3.75"-4.25" o Alternate mowing stripes weekly, double cut if needed o Sticks will be picked up and piled around trees o All trash will be removed from lawn areas o Weed whacking all areas including curbs will be as needed o All hard surfaces will be blown off weekly Mulching Work Scope: Locations: High School (first week of June), Middle School (before the start of school), Elementary School (first week of June) Remove all debris from beds Weed and edge all beds Prune plants as needed All yard waste is to be removed from site Mulch beds with 2-3" of triple ground brown mulch Fall Cleanup Work Scope: Locations: High School, Middle School, Elementary School (first week of June) Weed beds Cut down all perennials as needed Prune plants as needed Leaf Removal Work Scope: Locations: High School, Middle School, Elementary School (first week of June) Remove all leaves and debris from beds and lawn areas. Bag lawn areas if needed Blow off all hard surfaces Leaves and lawn debris can stay on site (predetermined areas) The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all proposals pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-2(s), (t), (x), (y), 18A:18A-4(a), 18A:18A-22, and to waive any informalities. AWARD OF CONTRACT; RESOLUTION; NUMBER OF DAYS Any contract awarded under this process shall be made by resolution of the Board of Education. The award must be made within sixty (60) days of the receipt of the proposals, subject to extension pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-36(a). Contract Period The term of contract shall be for the calendar years 2024, 2025, and 2026, and may be extended for an additional 2 years.
