Demolition, site work, paving and addition to a mixed-use development in Ringgold, Virginia. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check of the bidder, payable to the Owner, or a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days subsequent to the receipt of bids without written consent of the Owner. All contractor questions will need to be addressed to the architect (Amanda Schlichting, aschlichting@dewberry.com) by Friday, May 31 at noon A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Amount with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, shall be required for the faithful performance of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding process and to make as a whole or any part of the work that is most advantageous to the School System.
