This project will construct a ten (10) foot wide multi-use path connecting Orleans Park at W. Boundary Street and Riverside Park along the bank of the Maumee River within the existing right-of-way of Water Street. The project includes all necessary and related work such as: paving, earthwork, aggregate base, restoration, clearing, and other related items. The 2023 Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Construction and Materials Specifications shall be followed. Required modifications to the ODOT specifications are noted herein. Federal prevailing wages shall apply. The DBE goal for this project is 6%. In order to be considered responsive, the contractor and all subcontractors will need to comply with City Ordinance 08-2023 which was passed in April of 2023. A copy of the Ordinance 08-2023 is included in the attachment list. A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) on the contract price will be required as part of the contract. Bids will be accepted from ODOT pre-qualified contractors only. By submitting a DBE Utilization Plan, the Bidder is affirming that they will be using the DBE firms identified in the Utilization Plan to meet the DBE contract goal. The project is located within the City of Perrysburg corporation limits and is thereby eligible for City Income Tax collection.
