The purpose of this amendment is to provide the answer to question number seventeen (17) that was inadvertently omitted with attachment 0008 of this solicitation. Question Number 17 from attachment 0008 for this solicitation. Is the Government requiring fully welded panels or rackable panels Answer: Welded Panels. Install a new fence and entrance gate to better secure the Lowndes Interpretive Center Maintenance Shop and add openers to the entrance and exit gates. This project shall include the removal and proper disposal of existing fence and gate offsite for the Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail. This project shall include the removal and proper disposal of existing fence and gate offsite. The following listed are the necessary requirements needed: -Remove the existing chain-link fence and remove the fence off site for disposal. Prep the area for the new fence removing vegetation and debris from the site. -The fence to be installed shall be made of rod iron and measure approximately 650 feet in length. The height should measure 8 feet in height with security spikes curved away from the fence to prevent intrusion. The entrance gate shall be 18 feet long sliding gate made with the same rod iron material as the fence gate. Commercial grade fencing is required. Materials can be substituted if specified gauging is not available upon government approval. Project Magnitude: The magnitude of this project is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. To ensure Offerors' questions are adequately addressed and appropriate action taken prior to submission of offer, questions MUST be received in WRITING by May 16, 2024 1:00 p.m. EST or the due date shown in the latest amendment. Questions and/or comments received after this time may or may not be addressed prior to the RFQ closing date. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
