(WITN) - Greenfield Terrace Park is set to receive a $1.22 million upgrade following the approval of a construction contract by the Greenville City Council on Monday night. Renovations will focus on the Barnes-Ebron-Taft community building, including a nearly 1,000-square-foot addition, floor and ceiling replacements, and acoustic wall treatment. “Greenfield Terrace Park is probably one of our most popular parks in terms of building rentals,” said Mark Nottingham, Greenville projects and development manager. “These improvements are really going to enhance the space and the overall park.” Other renovations will include adding more parking spaces, paving the parking lot, installing new playground equipment, and revamping the basketball courts. ___________________________________ Base Bid $1,226,030 Base Bid with Alternates $1,321,779 The City Council of the City of Greenville reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
