A. These specifications and accompanying drawings are intended to cover the furnishing by this Contractor of all labor, material and equipment of every kind necessary for the complete installation of the various systems and such other material and equipment as hereinafter specified and shall not be limited to the following 1. Provide natural gas piping. 2. Provide painting of piping systems 3. Provide double check backflow prevention devices. 4. Provide gas, valves, supply valves, supply piping, regulators, etc. 5. Provide natural gas piping from the gas meter/regulator set (or points called out on drawings) to all equipment in the building requiring gas. 6. Provide expansion joints, loops, anchors and guides. 7. Provide vibration bases, steel supports and hangers for all equipment and piping. 8. Provide testing, adjusting and placing in service all systems and equipment installed Contract No. 2 - Electrical Construction As Bid Security, Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond Made Payable to the Owner, in Accordance With the Amounts and Terms Described in the Instructions to Bidders and The Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. The Owner Requires That All Proposals Shall Comply With the Bidding Requirements Specified in the Instruction to Bidders and With the Bidding Requirements Required by New York State. The Owner May, at Its Discretion, Waive Informalities in Proposals, but is Not Obligated to Do So, Nor Does It Represent That It Will Do So. The Owner Also Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Proposals. Under No Circumstances Will the Owner Waive Any Informality That, by Such Waiver, Would Give One Proposer a Substantial Advantage or Benefit Not Enjoyed by All Other Proposers. No Proposer May Withdraw His Proposal Before Forty-five (45) Days After the Actual Date of the Opening Thereof, Unless a Mistake to Error is Claimed by the Proposer in Accordance With Instructions to Bidders.
