Questions Deadline: 4/24/2024 10:00 AM (CT) Estimated Construction Cost: $549,890.00 ATTENTION IS CALLED to the fact that not less than the minimum prevailing salaries and wages as set forth in the DAVIS-BACON ACT must be paid on this project, and that contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. This project is titled as 'essential' and PSJA ISD will follow all national, state, and county guidelines in references to congregation, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and other ordinances presented during the meeting. We ask that you limit your guest to essential personnel only, and that you follow the appropriate appointment time, if the meeting requires appointments due to the ordinances to keep individuals safe ALL individuals attending this in-person Pre-Bid Conference will be required to participate in a temperature screening, and wear proper (PPE) Personal Protective Equipment, to include proper facial coverings according to ordinances. This in-person Pre-Bid Conference is subject to change as per CDC, state and/or local COVID-19 safety guidelines. PSJA ISD will send notification via the "PSJA ELECTRONIC BID SYSTEM" if this meeting is changed to a virtual on-line meeting. Unless otherwise indicated in these General Terms and Conditions, all bid/proposal pricing will be firm through the entire contract period. In the event this contract expires before another bid/proposal is awarded, upon the mutual written agreement of the parties, this contract may be extended on a month to month basis beyond the expiration of the contract time period. The transfer, assignment, or subcontracting of contracts is prohibited, and the bidder/proposer agrees not to sell, assign, transfer, convey, or subcontract any portion of any contract resulting from this bid/proposal invitation without the prior written consent of the District
