The City of Twentynine Palms is soliciting Proposals from qualified firms (Proposer) to provide professional Resident Engineer, Structure Representative, inspection, materials testing, construction staking quality assurance, environmental monitoring coordination, and contract administration services for the "Split Rock Avenue Bridge" project. Major elements of the project include the following o 17,625 CY of channel excavation o 663 TON of hot mix asphalt o 10,135 CY of concreted-rock slope protection and 3,439 CY of rock slope protection o 429 CY of bridge structural concrete o 81,531 LB of bridge bar reinforcing steel o Bridge is 73 ft. long and 46 ft. wide o Total new pavement is 520ft. long o Channel rock protection is 770 ft. long o 2 traffic lanes; one each way This phase of the project is partially funded with Federal funds and, therefore, the work must conform to all Federal requirements and the Proposer should be familiar with administering projects with federal funds.
