MSE-P2214ACES.1, 2477-101-001 OWNER requires a bid bond* or a certified cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid to be enclosed with the bid at the time of bid opening. Cashier's check will be made payable to the City of Camilla The successful bidder will be required to furnish OWNER with Insurance, Workman's Compensation Insurance, and Performance and Payment Bonds* in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the total bid. Question Deadline 05/15/2024 All requests for such interpretation shall be in writing addressed to York & Associates Engineering, Inc., 308 E. Water Street, Bainbridge, Georgia 39817, and to be given consideration, must be received at least two (2) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids The Information for Bidders, Bid Proposal Form, Form of Agreement, Drawings, Specifications, and forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Bidders Qualification Forms, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations . Sealed bids will be received by the City of Camilla, Georgia, for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for the demolition of a Building in Camilla, Georgia. The Project consists of, but is not limited to the following major elements: The demolition of an existing 15,000 square feet building and haulage of demolition waste to a permitted landfill. Time of completion for all work associated with this project shall be 60 consecutive calendar days from the date of a written "Notice to Proceed" from OWNER. End Date 08/30/2024 OWNER requires a bid bond* or a certified cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid to be enclosed with the bid at the time of bid opening. Cashier's check will be made payable to the City of Camilla. The successful bidder will be required to furnish OWNER with Insurance, Workman's Compensation Insurance, and Performance and Payment Bonds* in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the total bid. All Bids must be made out on the bid form of the type bound in the Contract Documents, in accordance with the instructions in the Information for Bidders. No interlineation, additions, or deletions shall be made in the proposal form by the BIDDER. Any and all Bids received without the aforementioned qualification criteria enclosed, will be returned to the BIDDER. CONTRACTORS and SUBCONTRACTORS bidding on this Project will be required to comply with all Federal, State, territorial, and local laws. Successful Bidder will be required to perform WORK as the Prime Contractor. Qualified Contractor must have prior successful similar-type construction experience. Qualified Contractor shall list these successful projects as referenced in the Bidder Experience Statement CONTRACT DOCUMENT 00420. OWNER reserves the rights to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids, to evaluate Bids, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the OWNER. No Bid will be rejected without just cause
