The City of CAMILLA is requesting sealed bids for the SOLID WASTE COLLECTION SERVICES, as described in the attached Specifications and instructions. Work is as specified in the Bid Document and is to be done in accordance with industry standards. Bids are being solicited only from responsible and established known to be experienced and regularly engaged in the work as described for the Project. Bidders are required to carefully examine the specifications contained in the bid document. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish OWNER with Insurance, Workman's Compensation Insurance, Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid or Contract amount. Surety companies executing Bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current list (Circular 570 as amended) and be authorized to transact business in the State where the project is locates. Bids may not be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by O.C.G.A. 13-10-22. The City reservesthe right to reject any or all bids, to award a contract in the best interest of the City, and to waive any technicalities and informalities.
