Lawn Cutting Services for the North Brunswick Township Board of Education 2024-2025 School Year If a bid exceeds Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00), the Bidder and its prime subcontractors must be prequalified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction and possess a valid and current Notice of Classification at the time of bidding. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26, in order to be eligible to submit a Bid for the Project, the Bidder shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) as of the date and time of the bid opening in the following discipline: Site Work Bids must be submitted on the provided proposal forms and be accompanied by certified check, cashier's check or bid bond drawn to the order of the "North Brunswick Township Board of Education" for not less than Ten Percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, but in no case in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). Bid securities shall comply with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24. Bids shall also include a Certificate of Consent of Surety obligating the issuing surety company to provide the bidder and its subcontractors, if successful, with a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the full amount of the contract. All bonds shall be in compliance with New Jersey law. Any bid may be withdrawn on a written request received from a bidder prior to the time fixed for the bid opening. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law, if it is in the interest of the Board to do so Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.50 et seq., Bidders and their subcontractors are required to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and to possess a current Certificate from said Department indicating compliance at the time of bidding. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informalities in bidding or to reject any/all bids.
