Site work and paving for a road / highway in Unionville, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Widening of Highway 7to 4 lanes from Reesor Rd in Markham to Brock Rd in Pickering (10.4 km in length). The Highway 7 expansion project will also include improvements to local intersections and the expansion of the Little Rouge Creek bridge in Markham. TIMELINE: The Provincial Government has announced $12 million in support of the widening of Highway 7 from the City of Markham to the City of Pickering. The government’s investment will be used to support the preliminary design and environmental assessment work. Project is conceptual. The project is currently in the initial scoping phase, a request for proposals is anticipated to be issued in the coming months. Construction timelines have not been determined at this time. Updates may be available fall 2025.
