Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Unionville, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The City is soliciting Bids from Mechanical Contractors to replace four (4) Carrier Rooftop Units ("RTUs") and two (2) Reznor Air Handing Units ("AHUs") at the Centennial Community Centre ("CC"). This project aims at replacing end-of-life equipment with energy efficient solutions. The RTUs will be replaced with Air Source Heat Pump Rooftop Units ("ASHP-RTUs") with Natural Gas ("NG") backup. The AHUs will be replaced with packaged units with DX cooling and NG heating. The four (4) RTUs supply heating (gas-fired), air conditioning (electrical) and ventilation to the banquet hall, squash courts (2) and change rooms. These units are on the existing Delta Controls Enteliweb BAS system. The two (2) AHUs supply heating (gas-fired) and ventilation to the Ice-rink dressing rooms. The AHUs are located on the North and South side of the ice-rink. The replacement solution will also provide air-conditioning to the dressing rooms. The existing units are NOT on the Delta Controls Enteliweb BAS system, but the replacement packaged units are being added to the existing BAS system.
