461010006 Brooks Products Inc. 5' x 5' x 5' mv with removable roof slab or approved equal. All precast concrete meter vaults proposed shall be steel reinforced and certified to sustain vehicular traffic loads with an H-20 rating. All vaults shall have an inside dimension of 5' x 5' x 5' height. All vaults provided shall have a separate roof slab with a Western Iron Works #41-42 top flange ring cast in the center of the slab. A Western Iron Works # 42 lid marked "WATER" shall also be supplied. All vaults shall be equipped with 4-ton lifting wrist pins both inside and outside. All floors will be provided by the City. The vendor shall provide knock out holes 18" long x 18" wide centered thru the vault for pipe inlets and outlets. Knock outs shall have a covering of 1" to 2" of concrete to be broken out in the field. The vendor shall provide all needed sealing material for the "floor to wall" and "roof to wall" seal. Vendor shall deliver vaults to various jobsites and set vaults as desired by the city if requested. Must be shipped in 2 - 2-1/2ft. sections rather than in one 5 ft. section. It is easier for department to handle as they no longer have equipment to lift the one large section. If I am awarded this contract by the City of Lubbock, I will be able to, within ten (10) business days after being notified of such award by the City of Lubbock, furnish a valid insurance certificate to the City meeting all of the requirements defined in this bid. If the time requirement specified above is not met, the City has the right to reject this proposal and award the contract to another contractor.
