ARKANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY-NEWPORT CENTER FOR HEALTH SCIENCES RFQ# 24-02 Arkansas State University -Newport (ASUN) is soliciting responses from qualified firms toprovide general contractor construction management services for the construction of a Center for Health Sciences. ASUN is seeking to construct aHealth Sciences Center to consolidate the school's health professional training programs fromseveral smaller existing buildings on the ASUN Campus to a new,state of the art facility. The project consists of the construction of ahealth sciences education building, site utility improvements including water, sewer, gas,electric/power, and site gradingand drainage improvements. The project funded in part by the U.S.Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration and the Delta RegionalAuthority. Currently, ASUN has a $10 million budget for the project. This includes a $5 million EDA Grant, a$221,000 DRA Grant, with the restbeing funded through private donations, and other sources. General contractors and architect/engineering services willwork with university personnel indetermining requirements for thedesign of the building.
