Renovation of a multi-residential development in Central Falls, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The work generally includes, but is not limited to painting of Corridors and incidental spaces such as Elevator Lobbies, Public Toilet Rooms, Trash Rooms, Vestibules, etc. Work also includes replacement of vinyl wall base in the Forand Manor Annex, typical in all rooms and spaces that are specified to be painted. The painting of ceilings is not included in the scope of work. Bids are subject to Equal Employment Opportunities, bonding requirements and other bidding and contract requirements as set forth in the construction documents. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit that is not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount and made payable to the Central Falls Housing Authority. The Central Falls Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding if it be in the public interest to do so. Bidders on this contract are requested to establish a goal to commit to MBE/WBEs twenty percent (20%) of the total dollar amount of the construction contract. All minority businesses utilized are required to be MBE, WBE and/or DisBE certified. Bidders are requested to use positive efforts to utilize minorities from the Directory supplied by the State Office of Diversity, Equity & Opportunity.
