The Putnam County Board of County Commissioners is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for South Putnam Concrete Drainage Ditch. The work includes furnishing all material and labor to perform the removal and replacement of concrete ditch paving in a drainage channel from CR309 to the St. Johns River near St Johns Fishing Lodge Road in Georgetown. Approximately 1,065 LF of ditch will be relined. Work will include cleaning and regrading of approximately 140 LF of an existing lateral ditch. The project, at a minimum, will include: demolition; clearing; grading; PVC pipe replacement; concrete ditch paving; and erosion and sediment control. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible to ensure that all installations that are completed shall be equal to or exceed the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) specifications as outlined in the latest edition of the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction and the latest addition of the FDOT Roadway Design Standards. The Base Bid portion of this project will consists of all material and labor required for the removal and replacement of concrete ditch lining in compliance with current FDOT standard specifications. This bid requires a payment and performance bond by any Contractor awarded work.
