This project includes recoating the reservoir roof, paint touch up of the reservoir exterior wall coating and safety striping on the reservoir roof perimeter. The project also includes improvements to replace the tank's interior cathodic protection system, air-vents, outlet piping, and operational valving and installation of safety improvements to the reservoir ladder. The project is part of the Utilities' program to rehabilitate or replace aging infrastructure. This project is covered "Project Work" as defined in the Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) the City entered into with the Los Angeles/Orange Counties Building and Construction Trades Council and the Signatory Craft Councils and Local Unions. Installation and programming the Endpoint is to be performed by one of the APU preapproved automation and system integrators. The Contractor must procure their service as a sub-contractor during construction to complete the following; 1) PLC and Operator Interface Terminal (OIT) programming and testing onsite and 2) Wonderware programming and testing at the Lenain Water Treatment Plant (LWTP).
