The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the equipment, facilities, services, and appurtenances indicated in the Contract Documents. The Work generally includes but is not limited to concrete flatwork replacement and center median barriers. All contractors intending to submit a bid are invited to attend to obtain relevant information concerning the project. Bidders are advised that information affecting drawings, specifications, conditions, Scope of Work, etc. may be discussed. OWNER assumes no obligation to disclose information discussed at the pre-bid conference to Bidders who do not attend. Absent Bidders assume all risk of failure to attend. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any Bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The work includes but is not limited to removal and replacement of deteriorated or missing concrete which could include sidewalks in the pedestrian corridor, installing ADA compliant access ramps, or upgrading existing non-compliant ramps. Work at some location may be minimal. Also, deteriorated, or missing curb and gutter, drive approaches, and other concrete or asphalt tie-ins, per APWA Standard Plans and Specifications. Contractors may be asked to move to many locations throughout Salt Lake City.
