Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a water / sewer project in Saint Cloud, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project Description: The purpose of this RFQu is to solicit responses from qualified engineering consulting firms with experience in water reclamation facility upgrades and expansion to provide profession engineering services for the Sunbridge WRF Expansion Project. The project is to expand the existing Sunbridge WRF treatment capacity of 1.0 MGD AADF to 3.5 MGD AADF. Sunbridge WRF is located at 2200 Sungrove Lane, St. Cloud, Florida. The selected consultant will provide preliminary and final treatment plant expansion design, permitting, bidding assistance, construction administration services, startup, process operation and maintenance manual, and other miscellaneous services as required. The objective of this project is to incorporate overall facility components and infrastructure upgrades to facilitate an expansion to the treatment capacity of 3.5 MGD AADF and support Public Access Reuse (PAR) system. The improvements may include, but are not limited to, the followings: 1. Pretreatment structure improvements 2. Biological nutrient removal process upgrades 3. Transfer and reclaimed water high-service pump (HSP) improvements 4. Splitter box modifications 5. Sludge holding and dewatering system improvements 6. Chlorine contact tank improvements 7. Civil and yard piping 8. Electrical and instrumentation and control (I&C). 9. Other improvements that may be required to meet future needs and for long term operation.
