Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Champaign, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project consists of the existing Softball access road and parking lot has 8" of aggregate base course and the aggregate will be removed and salvaged and stockpile at the Tennis Court; The proposed subgrade shall be excavated to the bottom of the placement of the 8" salvaged aggregate for the proposed concrete pavement 8". The Tennis Court will be removed when the proposed concrete pavement is completed; The existing asphalt sidewalk from the Perimeter Road to the Tennis Court and to the existing access road will be removed; The proposed concrete sidewalk will be from the Perimeter Road to the access road, and southwest of the existing Tennis Court; The site grading around the proposed access road and parking lot will be graded with swales and proposed inlets to collect storm water for positive drainage along the existing soccer field and between the access road and the Tennis Court; This project will require construction staging to provide access to Parking Lot A1 and Softball Field; The existing intersection at the northeast corner of Parking Lot B1 will be reconstructed; The existing asphalt pavement removal, combination concrete curb & gutter Type B-6.24 will be removed, grading existing aggregate base course for proposed P.C. Concrete Pavement 9", proposed combination concrete curb & gutter Type B-6.24; The existing manholes and inlet will be adjusted for positive drainage; The proposed concrete pavement 9" with proposed aggregate base course 8", and the proposed subgrade shall be excavated to the bottom of the proposed aggregate base; This intersection will be closed all around the intersection with Type III Barricade with flashing lights; Access to Parking Lot B1 will be from the northwest corner of Parking Lot B2.
