Renovation of an educational facility in Midland, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

As of August 1,2024, project was awarded to both Mission Restaurant Supply for $139,251.0 and Trex Restaurant Equipment (Texas Restaurant Equipment Exchange Inc) for $135,096.63. The purpose of the RFP is to establish pricing from a qualified vendor to provide the following upgrades (any or all brand or item numbers listed are for quality reference): Kitchen equipment for this project is expected to be delivered and installed at each school no later than January 2025. Exceptions must be submitted in writing to the Child Nutrition Services Department. It is the responsibility of this vendor to receive the equipment and move it to the designated school. Installation of the kitchen equipment specified below is the responsibility of the awarded vendor (set in place, utilities connected), and start-up ready for the manufacturer's representative demonstration. MISD reserves the right to accept or reject any submitted proposal items. MISD reserves the right to award by each line item in the scope of work. Question Deadline 06/27/2024 at 5:00 PM CT Site visit dates are schedule for May 1st & May 3rd we will begin promptly at the schedule time. Vendors can choose to attend either day Vendors are requested to submit a proposal offering their complete plans and specifications for equipment and services to the DISTRICT for the upgrades necessary in 13 schools. Existing Equipment This bid is to replace existing equipment at the schools noted under new kitchen equipment. The successful vendor will disconnect the existing equipment and remove it from the school and deliver to District Central Warehouse located at 7201 Briarwood Ave. Midland, TX 79707. The delivery of existing equipment will need to be scheduled with the district. The new equipment will be installed at the same location as part of this contract including connection of all utility lines and startup of the equipment. It is the successful vendors responsibility to verify the existing utility connections and document in writing to the owner any discrepancies before ordering the equipment.
