The project includes the work to confirm the service line materials for 160 service leads located throughout the city. The city will determine the specific locations prior to the start of the work. The work will be completed within the green belt of each service lead selected. The contractor will hydro excavate 2 locations per lead down to the service lead (approx.5 ft. deep), and a minimum of 18 inches horizontally on either side of the curb stop to verify the material. The contractor will also be required to restore the disturbed areas to its current condition. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Prevailing wages will be required for this Project. Bid Bond will be required with the Bid.The City of Caseville reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City.
