The City of Fall River, invites sealed bids from Electrical Contractors for the Baseball Field Lighting Replacement at Father Kelly Park in accordance with the drawings and specifications herewith as prepared by Starck Architects, Inc. Estimated project cost: $350,000.00 Scope of work includes but is not limited to: Removal of existing baseball field lighting system and replacement with new baseball field lighting system. There will be no scheduled pre-bid walk thru. Interested parties are encouraged to contact Nancy Smith at nsmith@fallriverma.gov to coordinate a site visit. All questions must be submitted via email to rjacques@starckarchitects.com by Wednesday, May 01, 2024 at noon. The subject line should read: Baseball Field Lighting Replacement at Father Kelly Park, IFB #24-42 A minimum combined MBE/WBE participation goal of 5% of the overall construction cost has been established for this project. The successful bidder will also be required to comply with the provisions of Chapter 306 of the Acts of 2004 in regard to required OSHA approved safety & Health Training. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c. 30, 39M and Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates. All bids should include 6 copies, 1 original and 1 flashdrive and be accompanied by a bid deposit equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of bid in the form of cash, certified check, bank treasurers or cashier's check, or a bid bond from a responsible surety company licensed to do business in the state of Massachusetts. A payment bond in the amount of 50% of the bid will be required by the successful bidder. The City of Fall River reserves the right to reject any and all bids when doing so is deemed in the best interest of the City of Fall River. The Department of Community Maintenance intends to award a contract within thirty (30) days of bid opening.
