Renovation of a transportation facility in Sanford, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
As of July 1, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project can generally be described: Interior renovation of an existing active passenger terminal with the removal of 750' of demising wall, associated security doors, and fixtures. Renovation includes flooring replacement, ceiling tile and grid replacements, modification to fire sprinkler head placement and HVAC diffuser placements. Relocation of gate podium locations with associated low voltage, electrical, and fixtures. The time of completion for the Base Bid work is anticipated to be 135 calendar days to achieve Substantial Completion. Exact time requirements are defined in the Instructions to Bidders. Request for Clarification Deadline: May 7, 2024, 5:00pm A bidder requiring a clarification or interpretation of the project documents shall make a written request to the Owner. The Owner must receive the written request a minimum of seven (7) calendar days prior to the date of the bid opening.
