The City of Hemet is seeking a qualified Contractor to remove and replace approximately 65 linear feet of 6" diameter steel water main with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in the City of Hemet. Replace 6” Flange X Push Valve on existing Tee at Florida Ave and Hamilton Ave and continue with a new 6” C900 water main approx. 65 linear feet south to make a connection at an existing 6” ACP pipe with Hymax Flex Coupling. There are no services or connection between of the two points of connection to existing facilities. A cross gutter needs to be replaced between spandrels at intersection of Hamilton Ave and Florida Ave. All trench and road repair need to be done in accordance with City Standards for City of Hemet maintained roadways. All trench and road repairs on HWY 74 need to be done in accordance with Caltrans Standards. Contractor shall provide an Engineered Traffic Control Plan for the work to be performed. Contractor will be working under the City of Hemet’s Caltrans Encroachment Permit.
