Reference Number 0000349697 The intent of this contract is to secure the services of one or more firms experienced in parking lot maintenance. The successful bidder(s) will be required to apply crack fill, two (2) coats of seal coat or (1) one coat of sealer (as indicated on bid location price sheet), control lines and symbols. The Town of Amherst is looking for firm who can complete all three items listed. The contract will run for one (1) year. Please refer to Sealing & Striping Diagrams located at the end of this document. It is strongly recommended that bidders visit each location before submitting a bid. Requests for information (RFI) shall be made in writing via email to mbushen@amherst.ny.us no later than April 23rd at 12:00 PM noon. Responses to RFI's will only be answered via Addendum. Upon acceptance of his Bid, if the successful bidder fails to enter into a Contract pursuant to the requirements of the Contract Documents, or fails to give the further security prescribed in this Notice, with the same time limited therein, then the check/bond deposited as aforesaid and the monies standing to the credit of the same, shall be forfeited to the Town as liquidated damages, or the payment of the bond enforced for the benefit of the Town. *The Town of Amherst reserves the right to extend this bid to other municipalities and qualifying divisions as set forth under NYGML.
