The Project is located at various locations in the City of Pittsburg. The streets are in the southwestern quadrant of the City near John Henry Johnson Park. Work will also be done on Marina Boulevard from Bay Side Drive to E 5th St. The work includes but is not limited to base repair, mill & overlay, three-layer treatment, cape seal, micro-surfacing, potential tree removal, concrete work, and all other work necessary for a complete project in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. Time for Final Completion. The Project must be fully completed within 90 calendar days from the start date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. City anticipates that the Work will begin on or about June 3, 2024, but the anticipated start date is provided solely for convenience and is neither certain nor binding. Estimated Cost for Base Bid. The estimated construction cost is $3,200,000. Substitution of Securities. Substitution of appropriate securities in lieu of retention amounts from progress payments is permitted under Public Contract Code 22300. Subcontractor List.
