Site work for a water / sewer project in Apex, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of an expansion of the landfill gas collection system at the South Wake Landfill in Apex, NC. The sealed envelope shall be addressed to Wake County Finance/Procurement Services, attention of Ms. Melissa England. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bids will be received under the Single-Prime bidding method only. Bids must be on the standard form provided in the Project Manual. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: installation of approximately 14 landfill gas extraction wells and dual extraction wellheads; approximately 3,000 linear feet of below grade HDPE collection piping; approximately 4,130 linear feet of below grade force main/ pneumatic supply piping; 14 dewatering pneumatic pumps; two horizontal collectors; and related site work. The scope of work also includes related surveying as well as erosion and sediment controls.
