The St. Mary Parish Water & Sewer Commission No. 3, acting through its President, Mike M. Ortiz, will receive sealed bids for the 6" Waterline Extension Along Darwin Road project, which consists of furnishing and installing approximately 2,040 linear feet of 6" PVC waterline pipe. The St. Mary Parish Water & Sewer Commission No. 3, acting through its President, Mike M. Ortiz, will receive sealed bids for the 6" Waterline Extension Along Darwin Road project, which consists of furnishing and installing approximately 2,040 linear feet of 6" PVC waterline pipe. There will be no pre-bid conference for this project. Bidders are responsible for making site visitations in preparation of their bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes. Each bidder must have an active Unique Entity ID (SAM), as verified , prior to the beginning of construction. Each bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. A bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-eight (48) hours of the bid opening, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays as governed by La. R.S. 38:2214 (C). Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact the St. Mary Parish Government no later than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening. To qualify to bid, each bidder shall be a properly licensed Contractor in accordance with La. R.S. 37:2150 - 2163 for the classification of MUNICIPAL AND PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION. Contractors desiring to bid shall submit evidence that they hold license of proper classification that is effective at the time the bidding documents are requested.
