Demolition, site work, remodeling and renovation of a municipal facility in Freer, Texas. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.

Project Description: The Contractor shall perform emergency repairs to a structural steel inspection canopy that has incurred damage as a result of a vehicle strike at the Highway 59 (E43) Border Patrol Traffic Checkpoint in Freer, TX consisting of the following key elements: 2.1. Perform emergency repairs to a structural steel inspection canopy that has incurred damage as a result of a vehicle strike. Repairs include structural steel replacement, temporary shoring, and electrical infrastructure repair. 2.2. Perform bird netting replacement on the canopy. 2.3. Perform CCTV work by an authorized, qualified, contractor. 2.4. No additional charges for the completion of the work specified in this contract or any warranty services shall be allowed. 2.4.1. Work shall include incidental and ancillary components, materials, or equipment accessories customarily required by code, guideline, or industry standard practice to make a building feature complete, a system complete and operational, or an item of equipment serviceable and functional – whether or not such incidental or ancillary components are identified, named, or shown in or on any document provided to the Contractor. 2.4.2. Work shall be governed by the latest version of the International Building Code (IBC) and Appendix A “Engineering Field Report KZF Design 2/29/2024”. Work shall comply with the applicable standards and local jurisdictional requirements. Work not in compliance with these standards shall be deemed not in compliance with this SOW. 2.4.3. All materials provided under this contract shall be new original equipment manufacturer (OEM) materials. The use of refurbished or recycled parts is prohibited. All manufacturer installation requirements shall be adhered to. 2.4.4. All work shall be performed at a journeyman level or better by experienced professionals in their respective trades. All Contractors and/or subcontractors shall possess all applicable licensing and/or certifications to perform work in the State of Texas. 2.4.5. All construction waste, material spoils, trash, and demolition debris shall be hauled away by the Contractor. But not limited to please review the specifications for more information. Prevailing Wages Apply. Contract duration = 60 calendar days
