Site work for a water / sewer project in Lebanon, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

James E Ward Service Loop & Drive - Water Line Addition Furnish and Install approx. 3,100 LF of 6 Cl 200 PVC, 500 LF 2 PVC water line, 60 LF of 12 steel casing by bore & jack, 4 meter & vault assembly, valves, fittings, and related works, as described on the Bid Proposal and/or shown on Plans. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. A 5% Bid Bond is required per the Instructions to Bidders. All bidders must be licensed contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. Information on the bid envelope shall be shown as required by the Contractors Licensing Act including Contractors License Number, License Expiration Date and that part of Classification applying to the bid. A Drug-Free Workplace Affidavit and additional certifications will be required by the successful Bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, no person shall, on the grounds of race, color or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. Description of Work At the Contractors option controlled blasting may be used as an alternative to nonexplosive methods of excavation. Controlled blasting should be performed as established by these specifications in order to accomplish the excavation required by the drawings and specifications. Controlled blasting is defined as the use of commercial explosives to loosen rock and other material so that it may be removed with power equipment while maintaining the safety of and preventing injury or damage to all personnel, structures, and facilities within the range of the blast. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, superintendence, transportation, services, and operations to complete the work under this section. This section includes but is not limited to, the following major items of work: Preparation for blasting and blasting Monitoring of blasting Cleanup and repair of damage caused by blasting
