Renovation of a municipal facility in Memphis, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
A. The Contractor must provide all material, labor, tools, plant, supplies, equipment, transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature, and all other services and facilities necessary to complete the construction of a postal facility for the Postal Service, including all incidental work described in the contract documents. B. Project consists of selective demolition related to carrier entrance and path of travel accessing carrier vehicles. Work also includes finish and furnishing updates to carrier related rooms including, but not limited to Restrooms, Break Rooms, Work Floor, and Supervisor Offices. All carrier restrooms will receive one-for-one replacement of fixtures and accessories. The Restroom associated with the Locker Rooms will be made to conform to Accessibility Standards with any required fixture relocations. All exhaust fans will be replaced throughout the building and any additional HVAC updates will be made per building functionality. All noted light fixtures will be replaced with LED. C. All work shall be in accordance with applicable codes and local regulations that may apply. In case of conflict in or between the Contract Documents and a governing code or ordinance, the more stringent standard shall apply.
