Site work and paving for a road / highway in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This Project Consists of Approximately 650,000 Sy of Road to Be Cracksealed, 250,000 Sy of Chipseal, and 50,000 Lf of Pavement Marking, as Well as Other Miscellaneous Items of Work. Proposals Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the Amount of 5% of the Bid, Payable to the Fitchburg Treasurer, as a Guarantee That the Bidder, if the Bid is Accepted, Will Execute and File Contract and Bond Within 15 Days of Award. Performance and Payment Bonds Each 100% of the Bid, With Executed Contract is Required of Successful Bidder. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda through QuestCDN to all plan holders. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
