Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Mobile, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a stadium; for site work for a stadium; for asbestos abatement for a stadium; theater / auditorium; theater / auditorium; and theater / auditorium.

The Work includes, but is not limited to, abatement, demolition, removal, and disposal of the existing Mobile Civic Center, Theater, and Expo Hall and all related work, as indicated on the Bid and Construction Documents. The demolition will be bid in a single bid package. All interested Contractors shall obtain written pre-qualification procedures and additional criteria from online. Participation by disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE) is strongly encouraged. Additional qualifications and requirements for Pre-qualified Contractors will be included in the Bid and Contract Documents. Only Contractors who have been approved to bid pursuant to the pre-qualification procedures and criteria established by the Owner will be eligible to bid the project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technical errors, and to add additional bidders beyond the date stated above if, in their judgment, it is in the best interests of the Owner. Contractors submitting pre-qualification proposals will be notified regarding their pre-qualification status on or around May 24, 2024. The bid documents are anticipated to be posted electronically on or around June 3, 2024 with bids due on or around June 28, 2024. Note that failure to provide all information requested, and failure to provide full disclosure will be deemed non-responsive by the Owner, and as just cause for rejection of any pre-qualification submittal. Only Contractors who have been approved to bid pursuant to the pre-qualification procedures and criteria established by the Owner will be eligible to bid the project.
