This project involves the plugging and/or remediation of abandoned oil and/or natural gas wells and sites at the location described below. Physical Address: 198 Emerick Hill LN Saint Marys, WV 26170 Parcel Description: TAYLOR ROBERT L & AMANDA J ID: 37-08-0007-0022-0000 DESC: .29F GREENS RUN Well Location: 39.381258 N, -81.220986 W The subject well appears to be an abandoned oil well and is located in the homeowner's driveway. The well is open at the surface down to an estimated 40' depth with wooden conductor and is currently leaking gas, oil, and water. Contamination is isolated around the well and has not left location. The area around the well is mostly flat and covered in stone, but a small hill will need to be flattened and smoothed to the left of the well to make room for the rig. A containment wall shall be constructed between the well/rig and the home located 30' from the well. OOG will contact Locate 811 to have all subsurface utilities marked. Proposed Work Plan 1. Notify Project Coordinator (PC) 24 hours prior to commencing plugging operations. 2. Set minimum 24" cellar around well. Move in and rig up. 3. Trip in hole (TIH), check total depth (TD) at or below 800', and pull rod / tubing if found. If estimated TD cannot be reached, begin cleaning out hole to approved TD by PC. 4. TIH to TD at or below 800' with tubing, spot 6% gel followed by cement from 800' to 500'. Wait on cement (WOC), tag top of cement plug, and add cement if needed. 5. TIH with tubing, spot gel from 500' to 300' followed by cement from 300' to surface. 6. Rig down, install monument, and reclaim site.
