Reference Number 0000350104 The City of Dearborn invites qualified contractors to submit bids for the Demolition of 2, Open Sided Canopy Structures The successful Building Demolition Contractor Specialist to provide all equipment, manpower and tooling for demolition of 2 existing open sided canopy structural steel buildings complete including all structural steel, foundations complete with backfill, roof systems, concrete slabs and haul away to approved salvage and or disposal site. Demolition Specialist Responsibilities: Obtain all permitting requirement for complete demolition of 2 open sided canopy buildings steel buildings approximately 60'x180' complete with city and state approvals (testing as required of existing material). Backfill all existing foundations complete with class 2 sand compacted. Level rough subgrade after all demolition. Work around existing fire hydrants as needed close to corners of foundations if hydrants not relocated. Set up safety perimeter around the demolition site. DPW operations with heavy equipment in proximity. Start by city's schedule, within 2 weeks after purchase order and complete in within 2 weeks. City water available in adjacent building ~ 2" water feed for wetting building limiting airborne dust. All clean-up of site 100% for preparation of foundations system of proposed building. Manifest of haul away to legal approved salvage or disposal site.
