Site work for a civil project in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Currently, the County is inviting submissions from contractors interested in pre-qualifying to bid on the Meadow Drive Stormwater Management Project Phases 2 and 3 (herein referred to as the Projects). Situated in the community of Bearspaw, to the northwest of Calgary, these Projects aim to commence construction in 2024, with a targeted completion date by the year's end. Environmental approvals are expected by October 2024. If environmental approvals are delayed, RVC will agree to modify the completion date with no penalty to the contractor. The project's primary objective is to address persistent flooding and wetland inundation issues within the Meadow Drive community. Flooding mitigation will be achieved by implementing permanent relief measures, including the interconnection of various wetlands leading to a storm water lift station.
