Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Nauvoo, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
**As of May 8, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. Maybe will award it on May21st 2024.** Separate sealed bids for the demolition and clearance of unsafe structures in connection with CDBG Each bidder must deposit, with its bid, security in the amount of, form of and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders section of the bid package. This activity is funded in whole or in part with Community Development Block Grant funds pursuant to Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. All applicable federal regulations shall be in full force and effect. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The town reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing and emailed to Nicole Byars, Town of Nauvoo Clerk at nauvootownof@tds.net and to be given consideration must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.
