Sidewalk Construction & Repairs Construction of new sidewalks, repair of existing sidewalks, and upgrading of existing sidewalks to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. Continuing services contract to provide construction of new sidewalks, repair of existing sidewalks, and upgrading of existing sidewalks to meet Americans with Disabilities (ADA) requirements. The work shall include demolition, removal of existing concrete and asphalt, construction of concrete sidewalks using normal concrete and pervious concrete, aggregate base course, installation and construction of truncated dome detectable warning devices, asphalt placement, aluminum handrail, construction of concrete curbs, drainage piping installation, construction of drainage pipe mitered ends, rip-rap, irrigation relocation and construction, seeding and sodding and other incidental construction as assigned, on an as needed basis. The goods and/or services listed in this bid are for the purposes of price comparison and are not intended to be all inclusive. The County may add goods and/or services at any time during the term of this Agreement at a cost to be agreed upon by the Vendor and the County. Martin County shall not be held to any minimum or maximum purchase quantities Every request for interpretation shall be in writing and e-mailed to Purchasing at pur_div@martin.fl.us no later than 5:00 PM on Monday the week prior to the bid due date.
