Schenectady County is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide Structural and Building Systems Evaluation Services for the Museum of Science and Innovation (miSci) building, located at 15 Nott Terrace Heights, Schenectady, NY 12308. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit competitive proposals to evaluate the structural integrity of the building and building systems including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, identify deficiencies or areas of concern, and provide recommendations for necessary repairs or remedial actions. Women and Minority-owned firms are encouraged to submit proposals. Schenectady County is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. Schenectady County will make any investigation it deems necessary to determine the responsibility of any proposer to perform the work. The County reserves the right to reject any proposal if an investigation of the proposer fails to satisfy the county that the proposer is responsible and can carry out the obligations of the contract. Schenectady County reserves the right to waive any informality in a proposal or to reject any or all proposals.
