Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.

The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: 375 tons of HMA 6 foot and 8 foot pathway overlay, 1780 Modular Block Retaining Wall replacement Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. Drawings and specifications are available online or at the Grand Rapids office of Prein & Newhof. Digital drawings, specifications and bidding documents will be accessible/available only to those Bidders who are active members of the Prein & Newhof Plan Room. Bidder assumes sole risk for any project specifications and drawings, Digital or hard copy, obtained other than directly from Prein & Newhof. The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for by funds received from Park Township. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to Park Township in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of forty-five (45) days after the receipt of bids. The project shall be completed by October 15, 2024 or within sixty (60) days from start of construction, whichever comes first. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The work must consist of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for excavating, trenching, and backfilling for utilities. The work also must include the necessary clearing, sheeting and shoring, boring and jacking, dewatering, pipe embedment, and other appurtenant work. The work must be performed in accordance with the specifications and drawings, the MDOT 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction and the following specifications.
