For Bituminous Concrete Material Each bid must be secured by an accompanying deposit in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total of all items bid in the form of a bid bond or certified check, or a treasurer or cashier check issued by a responsible bank or trust company payable to the Town of Belmont. The term of this Contract is from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. The Select Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to make the award as may be determined to be in the best interests of the Town of Belmont. All bids shall be in writing and be in a sealed envelope, which envelope shall indicate thereon that it contains a bid for Bituminous Concrete Material, in Belmont, Massachusetts, and the name of the bidder shall be indicated. The operating hours of the Office of Public Works are: Monday 8:00 am to 7:00 pm Tuesday through Thursday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Bidders wishing to submit their bid by mail or other delivery service should send the packages to the Town of Belmont, Office of Public Works, 19 Moore Street, Belmont, Ma 02478. After the bids are opened, bidders will be provided an opportunity to ask any questions. Bidders may call (617) 993-2680 or email Belmontdpw@belmontma.gov to request this information.
