Question Cuttoff Date & Time 5/6/2024 02:00:00 PM (ET) Question Cuttoff Date & Time. All questions related to this project are to be submitted through the site through the cut off period for question submissions. DOT is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all equipment, materials and labor needed to clean the entire dome thoroughly for complete reseal of the dome. Prepare surface per Manufacturer's recommendations for 10 Year Warranty System. 1. Include: Roof and walls to grade. 2. Exclude: Fabric door and any associated hardware or accessories that would stop the door from functioning properly. Fabric door may need to be removed for the re-sealing process. Contractor to coordinate with the owner if necessary for storage and handling procedures. Project start date: July 1, 2024 Construction End date (Must be inclusive of inspection and final acceptance date): August 31, 2024 It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible contractor whose submitted quote is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders past work performance, and work capacity. The Iowa DOT is exempt from sales tax. Sales tax is not to be included in your bid amount.
