NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Alum Rock Union School District ("District") is requesting qualified persons, firms, partnerships, corporations, associations, or professional organizations to provide comprehensive and professional construction management services for Project #12 - District Sewer Line Replacement Projects ("Project," "Projects" or "Project(s)") relating to the District's facilities development of its public schools under Measure "I" Bonds Program ("Program"), this will include work at the District Office and various school sites. The comprehensive construction management services will include, but not limited to: Project construction oversight, reporting, and support; and constructability reviews; pre-construction support including bidding; strategic construction sequencing and staging; optimization of staging and/or work consolidation; and may include other construction management for Projects and Program planning and support. Construction Management oversite for the replacement of sewer lines at various district school sites and district office. Work expected to begin June 7, 2024 with completion by August 8, 2024 (First Day of School - August 13th). District Office - Addition of sink with hot water in existing cabinetry for the Business Services Department, Building 100. Work anticipated to begin early summer of 2024 and completed by the end of summer 2024. Site Work - Sewer line replacement and associated work such as, repair/replace site flooring, walkway, and right-of- way at various sites, this to be discussed at site walk scheduled for Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Some sites may require tree removal/remediation and replanting. Work anticipated to begin early summer of 2024 and completed by the end of summer 2024. (Adelante Dual Language Academy I, Cesar Chavez Early Learning Center, Ocala STEAM Academy, Painter Elementary) Questions must be submitted to Mr. Freitas at marc.freitas@arusd.org and Maria Martinez, Bonds Manager at maria.j.martinez@arusd.org, on or before 12:00p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Answers services/purchasing/bids on Friday, April 26, 2024. April 26, 2024 - Responses to all questions will be posted on the district website at: On or before 5:00 p.m. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in any proposal reviewed. The District may reject any proposal that does not conform to the instructions herewith. Additionally, the District reserves the right to negotiate all final terms and conditions of any preliminary agreement entered into with the construction management firm. The District makes no representations that any contract will be awarded to any respondent. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
